where do i get a good real loud one? i did a search on here but the search gives me posts with no train horn info. the search function on here does not work right for me. does anyone else on here have trouble with the search?
you might want to buy a bigger tank or hook up multiple tanks. I know my friends dad has an air horn on his truck, not sure the exact tank size, but its "stock" from the kit, and only gets a few blasts before it has to refill
1. Try going go to "advanced" search
2. Select "Super Duty/Heavy duty"
3. Be specific when selecting topic (i.e..instead of "shock" try "Bilstein shocks"
4. Wrap topic in "quotes"
5. Experiment with it.
I will admit it's not the best but remember your searching for a couple of words amoungst millions. Be patient it does work. Any Guru's with any other "hints"
good stuff guys....I want a train horn too but it has to have a deep sound imo. I havent really looked at them yet in depth but it would be nice to be able to hear these bad boys first!

I ride a train everyday to and from work so I guess my expectations would be a little high. Some of the horns I have heard are a little weak. Might have been the tank capacity.
I have a K5LA mounted on my truck and most people can't believe how loud it is. I have a 20 gallon air tank running 200 psi and two Viair 480c compressors filling the tank.
