The best intake is one you can make yourself for pretty cheap... It's refered to as a Tymar or 6637 mod
Basically remove the old air box, put a 45* bend piece of 4" pipe in to the intake hose and put a Napa 6637 filter on that sits where the box used to be.
Cheap and flows a lot better. Some guys use AFE filters and other re-usables, just DON'T use a K&N. The paper 6637 works great though.
As far as exhaust, get a 3" downpipe, delete the cat, and straight pipe it wherever you want it. Most guys i've talked to make their own exhausts for it. I did 5" stacks and i love them!

now that i don't understand i check my filter and intake tube every five thousand and nine times out of ten the tube is clean as a whistle. i have k&n's intake and filter on my 97 psd. i've never had any trouble out of them and have used their filters and what not for several years now

I have seen were people take and clean up the in intake tube and exhaust at the turbo does any one know more about this and how much it helps and does any one know how much trans fluid it takes to fill the truck my book says around 16qts the trans is an auto and did the 95 come with a garret turbo stuck from the factory also thanks for the previous info it is very helpful

2. for the trans i'd put in about 14qts to start then check it and then just add a little at a time till it's full. you aren't going to be able to get all the trans fluid out
3. all of our trucks came with garret turbos stock
