Along with that there is a smog score. Saw it on a "to be removed by purchaser only" sticker on the drivers window of an 09 F-150. From Air resources board CA. Truck is in W.PA. and we are a cross border state that complies with the CA laws. Global warming score 1, smog score 6.
Biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind and it aggravates the hell out of me.

I havent studied the global warming reports much but did see where POLAR BEARS are now drowning at sea because the over water trips they have been making for thousands of years have now become to far to swim because the ice is melting........If no global warming how can this happin? Please dont give some BS answer but a real one. thanks

Does anyone have any HARD evidence that polar bears are drowning? I mean I see lots of "stories" about them, but no hard evidence that concludes that polar bears are drowning in mass numbers because the ice flows are thinning.

Aggravates the beejesus out me also, but don't pass it off as another stupid green movement stunt. This is incrementalism at work. First just get us to allow a meaningless, symbolic sticker to be placed on new vehicles. Next, let's rate the vehicles according to their Global Warming Impact stickers and while we're at it, toughen the law so the sticker cannot be removed by penalty of law (like your mattresses used to be). Finally, let's enact a tax to penalize the miscreants who continue to drive such high score vehicles. Lastly, let's make the tax increasing harsh (similar to the tobacco scenario) until it becomes too exorbitant to drive a truck or SUV.

 

Like those here who are seeing through all this bunk. Toughest winter in a while and yet they howl on about Wobal Glorming, or their new creation "Global Climate Change"...trying to have it both ways...they're so tricky.

I believe the people have had enough and are, at this very moment, having their silent say in all these matters. How? By returning to a pay-go (pay-as-you-go) economy, not building the 401k, which may or may not be there when needed (it ain't there now, very much).

I think that when it comes down to their own job, their own budget, most folks are far more conservative than they'd care to advertise publicly. We are seeing a war between liberal government proposals (of which the Global Warming hoax is but one item on a long list) and individual conservative survival principles.

To the original post: At our work we get equipment coming in from CA with a label making it sound as though the State of CA is Sooo much smarter than every other state because they know diesel exhaust can cause cancer. Are they like HIGH on themselves, or what?

 

I have seen several news reports on national TV news shows and when I googled it I quicky saw several reliable sorces (wall street journal) that offered real evidence that yes the polar bears were drowning...check it out yourself before you call it fiction......so my question is not answered.

 

They've already made the taxing harsh on said vehicles, with the gas guzzler tax. I'll think of the poor drowning polar bears next time I fill up with premium in my Bullitt and haul ***. BTW I have seen plenty of news stories saying just the opposite about polar bears so checkmate.

It got started in the late 40`s at the begining of the cold war (still going on today) where the CIA has on their pay roll new reporters as well as media stations. Way to control information and not let information vital to "national security" get out.

But besides that ask yourself this question.

If global warming is being caused by cars and by man kind as "Al gore and the other treehuggers" are claiming then why do we have atleast two documented ice ages. How can you have two seperate ice ages without the planet warming up (global warming) to cause the ice to melt.

Heres another question what about all the news papers in the 1970`s talking about global cooling and how by the end of this century we would be in a new ice age. I have some clippings from papers that says it I have to find them to get photos of them. But the truth of the matter is there are places that got record snow fall where it hasnt snowed in thirty years. What about where I live at in Houston, I used to remember it getting to 100 and sometimes 105 in July. Last July`s ive experianced since 2002 that I recall I havent seen it no hotter than 95.

But here are a couple graphs I posted in an article I wrote about how gobal warming is a natural occuring event and that man kind has no effect on it, that only the sun has an effect on it based off how "active" the sun is.













As you will see take alook at the graph showing Carbon Dioxide and Temperature. Its the same exact chart al gore used in his movie just overlaid which they never did. Thats the reasion why they didnt cause look the temp shoots up then the CO2 goes up as more CO2 is released from the ocean into the atmosphere as well. But look at what happens when CO2 shoots up the temp eventually pluments. Oh yea and one other thing you ever wonder why they called greenland, greenland? I have read reports bout how the vikings used to farm on Greenland before it became covered in snow. It sounds very valid that Greenland at one time was a plant filled island over the ice filled island now. But either way I wont hi-jack this thread, you wanted answers I gave them so the choice is now yours if you want to be a mindless drone and belive what the media tells you or turn your brain on and think about what I said. Cause either way the choice is yours on what you want to belive.

I LMAO when I saw a report saying the poor polar bears were becoming cannibalistic. Apparently this reporter didn't know that they always were, are, and will be.
