dip stick jumps out

I've got a mildly built 460 and the dip stick won't stay down. every time it's running at an idle the dipstick just sits there but if you rev it up the dip stick lifts out. I even have a handle on it that weighs a pound or so and it still does it. Does anyone know why it's doing this?

Crankcase pressure is causing this. You either do not have a PVC system installed or if you do, it is not working properly.

I agree with Bear. and you need to get this fixed very soon or your going to be replacing front and rear main seals soon as well as other gaskets etc.
