How cheap is cheap? HX55 flows more than an H2E, which IMO would make it a little too big for an OBS on stock sticks.

If that is a new turbo watch out for the China made knock off's. But it should be ok depending on the exhuast housing size. 19cm would be about right. 22cm would be too big and 17cm might be a little small.

You will have to fabricate your own mounting system as it won't fit on a H2E kit.

Our turbos are a A/R measurement rather than a CM (centimeter) measurement and I don't know how it compares. They are both relative measures to that particular housing though. its a cross sectional comparison of some sorts.

You can get new holsets for cheap. If I was looking for one I'd see what the cost new. These turbo's are not on the performance side so they will be quite a bit cheaper than most.

I looked into it pretty hard when I put the 50 on my truck. The general concensious is that the 55 is just a hair to big unless the sled is behind you.

I agree, I couldn't be happier with the 19cm housing.

If you want a flow comparison....My -38R flows roughly 900cfm. An H2E is around 1000, and an HX55 is 1050 or so.

It would be a pig with stock injectors.
