Since 1959:

If the AXLE code listed on Certification Labels (or Warranty Plates) begins with a letter: Limited Slip.

If the AXLE code begins with a number = No Limited Slip.

1959 was the first year Ford offered Limited Slip.

The speedo should still be fine, cuz your truck should have to came with 235/85's from the factory, and the 265/75 are the same size as the 235/85's they are just wider.

My '94 has 3:55s and 265/75R16s and the speedo is almost perfect measuring it against 10 mile markers and my GPS.
