1996 460 trouble codes

Check engine light came on my truck. It has the OBD1 code port. Checked the codes tonight came up with 53, 95, 39,
53 throttle position circuit above maximum voltage
95 fuel pump secondary circuit failure
39 axod torque converter or bypass clutch not applying properly
What do I need to do?
Truck is a early 1996 f350
460
Zf5 trans
BW 4407 trans
4.10 gears

The first thing you should do is re-check the codes. Your truck will generate 3-digit codes, vs the 2-digit of earlier ones.

If these are two digit codes then someone has put an older computer in the truck.
You need to check the calibration code on the door post and post it back here and we will try to come up with the right number for the computer.

You also need to get the numbers off the computer you have in the truck to make sure it is the wrong computer for the truck.

You can also take a photo of the numbers and post them back here or email them to me at the email address below in this post.

The calibration number. In the example below the number would be "4-54E-R10":

The numbers on the computer. In the example below the numbers would be "F5TF-12A650-ALA + DOE0":

Subford, look at the codes he got:

53
95
39

It's just code 539 repeating. However, a code 539 will not set a CEL.

OK so 539, that means he did not have the clutch down when doing the self-test.
So he has no KOEO codes.

He needs to see if there are any codes in stored Computer Memory (CM).

If no codes there it means the computer was reanalyzing while the engine was running.

539 will also be set if the heat/AC is turned on.

True but he has a non automatic transmission and most of the time when a guy first tries to run the KOEO self-test he does not push the clutch down.

I know this sounds dumb but where is the computer at on this truck? I've looked on the pass side and don't see it.

It is in the drivers kick panel but it is taken out from under the hood.
But why are you going after it if you have no codes?
Maybe you need to reread the above posts.

Anyway the computer that is to be in the truck is a computer with F6TF 12A650-BFA on it but the part number at Ford would be F6TZ 12A650-BFA.

Location of the computer:

Thanks for the info about where the computer is. But Why is the check engine light coming on and Honda civic's passing me when I'm climbing a hill?

Pull the codes again, do both KOEO and KOER. Just remember you have 3 digit codes, not 2.
