Integrated Wheel End Solenoid
Hi Guys
Just wondering how involved is working on the IWED?Going from 4wd to 2wd shift on the fly after shifting,going a few miles down the road,I feel this grinding noise then CLUNK.Some say water can get into the system&mess the mechanism up.I have an 05 F150 STX 4.6 liter.I keep it in 2wd&no problems.Is this a big job to do?

No, as long as you have done some work on your truck like brakes and such before and have most basic tools. Check out this thread.
