IWE actuaters
OK, I HAVE rebuilt the transfer case , new shift motor , still bad shifting from 2wd to 4wd and vice versa , lots of bad noise from under [ rumbling , clanging , grinding , you name it.
Did a vacuum check at the wheel actuators , held good on the passenger side , 20 psi + - , driver side leaks , are the F250 different from f150? , only
forums Isee on these is that there is 2 hose connections on f150, my 2008 f250 has 1 vacuum inlet on each hub.
Checked vacuum after the iwe solenoid in 2wd while engine running , there is none , put in 4wd and vacuum is on , wheel and shaft turn , go back to 2wd and wheel turns without shaft after about 20 seconds { back in 2wd}.
I know I gotta replace the driver side actuator or even the hub to , as it is always turning the short shaft.
My question are f250's different from f150's with how the vacuum works?
locking , and unlocking hubs?
