I know this is a new body style so it will take some time for the accessories to hit the market. I would just like to find a lower bumper grille insert to match my the upper chrome grille on my XLT. Maybe a couple of smaller chrome bars to go with the upper ones.
Since there is nothing like this available yet I am in the need of a front license plate bracket to fill the hole. I live in Indiana and the state does not require front tags. Because of this the dealer did not order a bracket for the front of the truck. If anyone plans to remove theirs I would love to have it.
I never really cared for a front custom plate, but in this case a plate would look better then the hole. A nice Colts plate would go good with the dark blue color of truck.

and i think you can get a front plate braket for less than 10 bucks at the dealer
I cannot belive anything at a dealer would cost less then 10 bucks but hey I will give it a try. As for ebay I have looked every where and cannot find a lower grille insert to match the OEM grille for an 09.
yeah I haven't seen anything that matches any of the stock grilles yet, so I just used a black billet grille to cover up that opening. I figured the black grille goes with those stupid big black plastic overider pieces above the tow hooks, and so not to try to draw anymore attention to that lower area...
My dealer was kind enough to put the front plate on my truck. Though PA doesn't have a front plate, the dealers love it if you advertise for them and will put their adver-plate on there. I got home, took it off and put a PSU plate on the front - perfect match for the Dark Blue Pearl CC finish. I also spent some time today putting in my hard mount jumper cables.... found a tab in that lower grill area that serves as a perfect mounting point for the quick disconnect. I'll have to take a picture and start a thread for my little project.

Let me know when you start your thread. I would really like to see the jumper cable install.
