my Platinum photo thread

I posted a few pics before when my truck was new but I figured I'd start this new photo thread of my truck and keep it updated as I add some minor stuff to my truck.

So far I only got:
35% front window tint (tried 20% first but seemed way too dark for my taste)
Bakflip HD folding cover
rear door sill protectors
removed 4x4 bed stickers

Waiting for/on order:
Husky painted mudguards (should be painted by body man today, he only had them for the past 3 weeks!)
Carriage Works black lower bumper billet grille (needed something to cover that bumper opening for now)
Extra set of Platinum rims from another forum member so I can put on BFG AT KO LT285/55/20 for fall/winter setup (already have the tires)
Weathertech Floorliner set (rear mat should be out in 2 weeks)

here's a couple of pics:

tried 20% tint

35% tint/no 4x4 stickers

Bakflip HD cover

Also, If you're looking for a Bakflip bed cover, email me through my profile and I'll hook you up with info about the online store I bought it from, this guy said he would try to hook people up. He had the best price I found online, plus he knocked a few more bucks off when I called him directly.

I agree about the decals, I have noticed the 4x4 stickers on the new ones and do not like them at all, why did they make them so big?

They do get smaller the further you are from them though.

They are from the Auto Vent Shade (AVS) company, same guys who make the vent visors. I originally bought a 4-door set for my old 04 truck. I used the rears on it, and saved the fronts. Now I used the fronts and cut them to fit my 09 rear sills. I can't remember where I bought them but just do an internet search for AVS door sill protectors or stepshields.

Steve? I have the 09 FX4 and I just hauled a load of firewood today and I only have 110 miles on the truck and just got it 2 days ago
How can you haul anything with that bed cover?
you should see the inside of my bed, its all dirty, scuffed up, scratched, but no dents yet, but I expect some dents in the future
(my spray on bed liner is going to be done next week)

thats a pretty truck, but I like my truck muddy and scuffed up
yea, thats me, i am the guy that takes it off road, gets covered with mud and don't wash the mud off for a week.

What a great looking truck!

Would like to see a photo of the grille when you have a chance.
And removing the decals looks much better!

Has anyone seen a Platinum in the Sterling Gray / Black Interior?
There don't seem to be any in my area.

I don't know what you're talking about? I can haul just about anything I want in my truck. That is the whole point of the folding cover, it folds up out of the way when you need to haul something big or tall. I just got my new truck so obviously I haven't hauled much yet but I do haul things like firewood, mulch, or dead deer from hunting, etc. I'm not afraid to get my truck dirty but of course I'm not going to do any serious off roading or seek out any mudholes.
