1989 F350 help

So i am looking at purchasing a 1989 F350 4x4. Well when i went to look at the front end it looked like a ttb on a 1981 F250. So i need some help did they put the D50 in the F350 or is a D60. Maybe i don't know for sure what they look like. Sure figured a straight axle would look like my broken one under my 77 F150

my 89 f-350 has a dana 50 ifs under it from the factory.

You guys better check those Vin numbers because a 350 should have a Dana 60 up front.Early 85 was the last year for the TTB 350.

I didn't see the vin on the dash but the sticker on the door said it was manufactured in 7/89 and it was an F350. I know what you are saying Kahuna but what i saw looked just like my brother's front end in his 81 F250 well slightly bigger.

if it has IFS it is either a F250 with 350 tags on it, or the front end was changed.
all F350's after 86 came with the Dana 60 SAS.

Bottom line it doesn't matter, just don't buy it, why would you want a TTB truck.

not going to worry

i am not going to buy it just was going to see what you all thought...was really interested in it before i saw the ttb. going to have to go with the 77 lowboy F250 with a d60 in it

my loss...lol
