TW Chip Switch Mount in Arm Rest
Quite awhile back a member said that he was going to mount his TW chip switch in the drivers arm rest just forward of the door locks. Anybody know if it was a success or a miserable failure?

IIRC , TJ has a TC lock...
The chip switch might need to lengthen the wiring

Thanks Jose, great find, that is exactly what I'm looking for. I'll try to send ya some love if "they" will let me.
It appears that it was installed by
"Mobilvol" although he/she is not listed in our membership log.
Anyone know who Mobilvol is and how to get in touch with him? I searched all over the album with negative results.

Those pictures belong to Jim Rollins, I don't think he's a member here but he goes by ThreeStarJr on TDS and PSN
Diesel Forum - The Diesel Stop.com - View Profile: ThreeStarJR
If you're a member of either of those boards you can PM him.
I knew he had the switch on the door panel and I thought I looked through all his albums last night trying to find the pic that Jose found
If you don't make contact with him let me know and I'll call him and ask if I can give you his phone number.

How strong as those *****? I guess the first thing that comes to my mind is that it can be broken off there? I guess I always look for negative points and then look optimistic... If that makes any sense. I like the location...

Farm I have a micro toggle in the same spot for my TC lock and it never has an issue. The **** will be a bit more high profiles but I don't think it will be an issue.
