What are the advantages of this? I thought most stations entrain air to "fluff" the gas so you get a little less on delivery.

The air dog takes the air out of the fuel leaving just fuel going through the injectors. It also has a helper pump to take the strain out of the stock fuel pump. Since Biodiesel has a higher viscosity than dino diesel i would think that it would help maintain fuel pressure.
It also has a water seperator and fuel filter. This is just my take on it. Maybe others that have it installed will chime in.

They don't really entrain air. Not on purpose. Pumping diesel causes it to foam. It's just the nature of the beast. Driving down the road with your fuel sloshing in the tank causes air to be trapped in the fuel. Diesel just retains air easier and longer than gasoline. Air also has a greater effect on diesel injectors than it does to the injectors on gas engines.

Sounds like a reusable inline filter between the tank and engine would be invaluable. Has anyone tried this?
That can be ok in certain situations. It really depends on the amount of gunk in your tank. Some inline filters can get clogged really fast, especially if bio is cleaning out the fuel system.

Bio acts as a natural solvent. Run enough tanks to clean out the fuel system, and it will be squeaky clean. I was amazed at how nice and clean my tank was the first time I dropped it. I could wipe my finger anywhere inside and there was not one drop of sludge, buildup, or anything else.

Makes sense. I missunderstood that the system entrained air rather than removing it. That's why I posted on it as I found it confusing. As for the air entrainment, it is a common practice to "oxygenate" or "nitrogenate" fuels in the name of better performance etc, however I would rather have the fuel in it's place.
