I did a AE scan on the truck last night and found 3 inj didnt sound so good and then ran a CCT. Had 3 that werent so hot, the other 5 are good. I am wanting to get injectors that would do good towing and not get to hot egt wise. So I am thinking something like hybrids, then I might not have to worry about my oil system, other then mybe an Adrenaline after reading Barneys thread. Also looking to get a new turbo what would you have to do to make to H2E fit? Would it be better to tow with then the 38r if its still avail? Had another problem with the AE staying connected to the truck all of a sudden it would just loose connection. I am thinking a loose wire or something. Need to find a layout of the fuse box under the dash. Sorry for the long winded post.
I am a big fan of hybrids, but I also think you have to have supporting mods so you don't break things. In looking at your sig, your truck looks fairly stock. If thats the case, you will surely be need to upgrade some things. Hybrids can do over 500 RWHP with the right mods.
Also if you are worried about EGT's, don't get hybrids with your setup. I know I can bury my EGT guage in no time and with your stock turbo and a .84 A/R housing, its gonna get hot!
So my suggestion is to look at something like a stage 1 injector. It will give you a bump of about 50 hp, won't need big oil and they are cost effective. You'll be looking at about $1300 if you get yours rebuilt to stage 1's. The nice thing is you can later upgrade your stage 1's to hybrids.
As far a turbo, you might look at the Garrett GTP38R ball bearing. They can be had for $1600-$1700 and drop right in without modification. If you get the H2E, you will need to buy the entire mounting kit and you will pay closer to $2500 and it doesn't flow as much air as a 38R.

Are you running a grey or black CPS? Grey ones can cause false CCT failures, as well as cause a rougher running truck and drop in mileage. Before considering injectors as a problem, check the easy stuff first.
However, if you are tired of the old injectors and want to have more fun, go with hybrids and the 38R. That's an excellent all around setup that tows well and you can easily manage EGT's, plus have power on tap whenever you want.
make sure batts are good, post are clean and alt is working right..i have found a weak alt makes her skip to..probably not the case here but its free to check it out.i got this from Curtis when he had a problem as well..or i think it was Curtis any ways..
I realize I would need to do some more mods to get the full potential out but I am not looking for stop light performance as much as pulling power.
Curtis, I have the black one in there and a new one in the bag still. Also in the past I have needed to replace one or 2 injectors and then had to replace a few more again. I think with a little over 200k on them they might be getting wore out a little.
Thanks I will check the batteries, Ron.
Once again thanks for the help and I will let you guys know what I find out.
pulling power, i'd get stage ones. Not much of a noticeable peak power change, but with a 1.0 turbine housing and wicked wheel, you'll get more of a broader power range from the single shot injectors using less oil volume

Kris has it right... Rich (WhiteBuffalo) has SS injectors, WW, van turbo, and supporting mods. He's running around 360 RWHP and pulls heavy regularly. The van turbo makes a huge difference in the EGTs with its 1.15 exh housing -- the 1.0 exh housing is a good compromise if you can't come up with a van turbo.
