Rear diff oil question

Looks like its differential oil change day!
My question is; changed the rear oil on my 350 following Guzzles procedures. The oil I got didn't have any friction modifier so I add 2 oz from the bottle from Ford. Drove it and didn't feel anything wrong with the rear end so I added the rest. Question is, how do I know if there is enough friction modifier or by adding all 4 oz is it good to go?
Thanks my, hope everyones having a great weekend.

If 2 oz. was enough, then 4 oz. might be too much. All you have to do is make tight turns left & right and listen for your rear end clutches to chatter. If adding two ounces was enough, then you should've stopped there. Making the fluid too slippery (which is what the friction modifier does), your clutches will slip too much and you'll make it into a "limited grip" rear end instead of limited slip. In other words, more like an open diff than LS. To test yours now, go lay a nice strip someplace and make sure you have two nice black marks. If you have only one, you put in too much.

OK, Joe,
After putting in just 2 oz, I got nothing, so that's why I added the rest.
I'll head across the street and see what happens. Hell as long s i'm there, might as well shoot off some rounds. Thanks
