For an offroad buggy, I would go with the A4ld in 4x4 if you can lay your hands on one. My first Ranger had one and it got me where I wanted to [within reason]. Mine never left me stranded but I used a simple rule of thumb, when in doubt... DON'T. I was usually on my own out in the bush, and had no desire to walk miles out. I dragged a couple of other folks out of a bad spot because I happened to show up on the trail. I never counted on my luck for that to happen to me.
