I just ordered the AE from Clay (Riffraff Diesel Performance Parts) and the cable comes with it. You may give him a call and see if he can get you a cable. His phone number is in the link. Good luck.

Looking at the product information, PCMSCAN will not work with Powerstrokes. It will only read generic OBD-II code information, and the drag strip feature will not work at all. The product that they have that will work is the ScanXL, but just like AE you have to buy the manufacturer specific add-on package in order to read the Ford Powerstroke codes.

On top of that, the OBD-II cable from AE will not work with the PCMSCAN.

Did you just download the demo software? I hope you did only the demo instead of paying for the software. Otherwise you just wasted money.

Great find Curtis!!!This is a prime example why I ask questions on this forum before I buy things such as the code reader.I asked about a couple of them and these folks(Jim)Magawatt did the research and found that they would not work before I spent the money. Now I have a AE on the way from Riffraff(Clay).
