As far as I know, you cannot modify the computer's parameters with that setup. I also have one and all it will do is dynamic monitor of the sensors, read the engine and some body codes and reset MIL lamp.
You can however, install a revised chip such as the Supertuner or Diablo types listed on this and other sites which may allow for dynamic reprogramming or multiple program settings (performance, torque, economy), but I have not investigated them enough to comment intelligently.
My guess is that any economy gains would be so small that they would not offset the price of the chips enough to make a reasonable payback.
