Dave if your running something like crossfire or sli I would run at least a 700 watt power supply. I personally run a 1000+ watt power supply in my desktop. I really have to rebuild that thing.

I know I have fried a 500 watt power supply when I upgraded a video card in my first desktop. Then again I was also running 4 optical drives, 2 hard drives as well as two case fans, the cpu coller, and then the new card was the final straw.

I'll need a dedicated outlet for that PC, I see that the PC is up there with the Air-Conditioner and Microwave.
Hmmm, I could duct the exhaust air from the PC to the Clothes Dryer and save on energy

True Dave. Actually it doesnt run to warm right now considering that I need to replace a few things in it. Namely the board, video cards, and processor. I had it plugged into a ups to help with any sudden voltage demands it needed. But with it not running I dont have it plugged in.
I dont think they do Dave. this is the power supply I currently have it is 1200 watts.
My home theatre system is over that by thirty watts if you include the 230 watt amp for the 10 inch subwoofer.
