Trying to figure out if anyone has found a good way to handle their accessory cables instead having them dangle like mine below. I know that there are compartments in the middle console and it can lock for added security. However, I would still have the cable dangling across my center shifter console. Is there any way to tuck them under or pass thru?
Correct. You should have an empty usb mini slot. Ford must make a cable kit that fits in that second port. It would be nice to know what length that is. I just used standard cables for my pc and hardrives.
hell, walmart has a mini usb to regular usb connector for a few bucks.
They do but you will need about 8ft of cable to get it into the rear of the center console. If ya willing to drill a tinny hole in the center console at the front under the gearshifter plate area then you could get away with a 6ft cable. Also you will need to get a female-female usb adaptor so you can turn that male usb end into a female usb end.
