I like the idea of no carpeting. How heavy is that line x stuff though. My FX4 has no carpet. Its much easier to keep clean and looks great! . Looks almost like a line x covering.
It is kind of heavy. Did your FX4 come like that, or did it have carpet?
Came that way and thank you. I think I heard about some kind of lining that is lighter weight. Can't think of the name but some folks have been using it in their race stangs.
Line-X can be applied in a variety of thicknesses based on what you are trying to do and your preferrences. I have seen a lot of trail rigs and hunting rigs that have been spray lined and they are great. Open all the doors and hose it down, no carpet to stain or worry about.
One of my employees did the floor and lower third or so of the body on his Dodge power wagon mud truck. Gets a ton of abuse and still looks real good after a couple of seasons, except that it's a Dodge.
Why not just go with the vinyl/rubber (whatever it is) floor that Ford has as an option. That's what I have in my truck, a ton easier to maintain then carpet. On my worst day cleaning it involves a roll of shop towels and simple green.
