Desktop dyno request - '70 429

Here are the specs:

'71 429 block, .030 over
'70 D0VE-C heads, stock w/ 1.7 roller rockers
stock rotating assembly, 10.5:1 or so
Edelbrock Performer 460
Holley 600 (though an Avenger 770 is planned)
stock exhaust manifolds

Cam: 204/214, 107/117 @.050

Timing is set at 6* advanced (I think)

Help anyone? Considering stock is 360hp, I think I'm close to 400 hp...I know the lack of headers is choking me up a bit, but that'll be in the works also.

Rest of driveline is NP435, NP205, going into '64 shortbed fleetside, 33's, 7" of lift...pics to follow.

i get 317hp@4500 rpm and 431 ftlbs@3500 rpm on dd2003. need the cam valve events to do it more accurate though. those stock manifolds are whats killing you, and the cam you have might not be much more than stock, possibly smaller.

The cam is at .050 - the numbers were something like 270/284 if I recall correctly SAE. It had a healthy lope to it, so I doubt it is smaller than stock.

Next Q - recommendations for headers? What kind of gains could I expect to see here?

My first build was a 429 so I couldn't resist. Bought some $20 swap meet headers, 1-7/8", paid big money $40 for an iron SCJ intake, stock CJ cam. Had to have some power to go with my other swap meet items, the $15 shaker setup and $20 rear louvers. Ah, prices back then.

Anyway here is what the WerbyFord Gonkulator computer says about your build:
The factory 429 T-Jet from 1968-71 was about 325hp on a good day, not "360".
(Do you really believe the T-Jet was 360hp and the SuperCJ was 370hp?)
With factory iron exhaust your build computes to
Torq 470 at 2800
Powr 336 at 4300
With 1-3/4 or 1-7/8 headers (either is ok)
Torq 491 at 2900
Powr 372 at 4200

It is set up just fine for a truck. The thing is, the Perf intake is just about what the stocker did, probably better MPG though (and lighter). And that cam, at 204-214 duration, is only a little bigger than the stock cam at 193-206 duration. So your build only gains about 11hp but that makes sense.
I'd look for an old 429scj iron intake, they are $100 or so and as a factory part always re-sellable. They work - even though the ports don't match.
And headers for sure.
Also, PAW/SSI sells a clone of the 429cj cam which works well at 218-228 duration, but still streetable in the Michigan winter, been there, done that.
The 600cfm carb is ok but these engines do like more, I used to get my best times from a 715 Holley and an 800 double pumper even on a couple mild (<400hp) engines.
