Question Upgrades?

Any ideas to boost the HP up for my 1996 F150 302 5.0L. Brand names would be thankful to.

Need more info. How is the truck equipped right now? Gears? Tires? Exhaust? What is your budget?

the truck is pretty much stock. It has two shocks on each side of the front. So total of 4. And 1 on each side of the of the back. But with 2 extra leaf springs on each side. That pretty much the only major modification the guy i bought it from made

Tires are in mid condition. I was looking to buy a Dynomax bullet muffler for the part of the exhaust

Start with longtube headers and a complete exhaust system, but dont' put 3" pipe behind them, dual 2' or single 2.5" is plenty.

Get the longtubes ! listen to Conanski he has a lot of good info!

I went with Shortys with a magnaflow cat kit, and cherry bomb extreme side exit, 2 1/2 piping, it worked great i notced a gain in mid range torque 15/16 MPH

The long tubes will give you more lowend torque and hp and sound great !

Click on my youtube link.
