[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Sep-02 AT 08:55 PM (EST)] OOPPSS!!! Wrong forum!!! SORRY On my 76 f-250 hiboy, the brakes seem to be sticking(fronts). I have replaced the clipers and the problems persist. Here are some symptoms. I will be driving along and all the sudden my front end starts shaking, The brake pedal also gets VERY stiff. The shaking is a result of warpped rotors and the calipers sticking, But if I shut my truck off for about 5 minutes and then try to drive, the brake pedal is back to soft and there is no more shaking...Profanity Removed?!! I have looked inside my boosters vacume line for any sings of brake fluid but found nothing. I am sure it is the booster or master cyl. but I just wanna know if anyone has seen symptoms like this before.
try replacing the rubber brake hoses on the front.
i have seen these balloon on the inside and do not let the fluid return to the master cylinder. the rubber lines are realitively cheap and its an easy fix.
