Replacement FICM

I have been getting the P0611 code lately. Is there any other place to get a FICM other than the dealership.

You could try a International dealer if you have one near by or one of our forum sponsors such as FTE/PARTS-GUY...

International Part Number: 5010121R94

Ford Part Number: 4C3Z-12B599-AARM

Just remember that you are still going to need someone (like the dealer) to program it for you...

In my understanding, if you get a USED one you can DIY as it already has the programming in it.. Just what I think, DONT quote me!

did a ficm search on ebay motors...

eBay - ficm, Parts Accessories - buy and sell on eBay Motors

a company out of FL sells rebuilt ones gauranteed for life on that vehicle.. you send down your ecm and they "marry" it for you. little over half cost of a new one that isnt programmed.. i'm seriously considering this

Was the company on Ebay Auto Computer Exchange. If it is I was looking at them as well. Just don't know if I want to send them money and my good ecm. Don't know what I will get back. Another concern is how long will it take to send your computer to them and get the new ficm and computer back. The truck is running and runs strong, it just takes a few miles to start running like it should. I just know its a matter of time before it goes.

yes, auto computer exchange. I have same questions about them as you... but they say its gauranteed for life...

does anyone one know the process installing a used one.. as far as getting the ecm to work with it?

When mine went out I got one from a used parts place (junkyard) It came off an 07 with about 40k on it, my truck is a 06 108,000 (no warranty) just swapped it out and truck runs fine. It has been on for about 3000 miles now and no problems. I might be wrong but i think if you swap if you have say an 05 then it needs to be off an 04 - 05 and if it is an 06 then off an 06 - 07 without having to have it reprogrammed.

Send it to Innovative or Power Hungry Performance and see if they can program it for you.
