Tex & topdrive...

Tex,
We seem to be on the same page here. I understand what you are saying and I couldn't agree more. this is not something I have to have immediately so there is time to make sure it fits my needs. Let me get back to you on exactly what I want to do with it. Maybe in a PM if that's OK.

Topdrive,
Thanks for the heads-up on this. The more I know the better... Thanks for the reply.

Later Guys...

Yeah I know what you mean. I plan on running my truck through this Summer and Fall. I usually don't make runs through December, January and February so I plan on doing some serious mods to it during that time period. However, having the system and software to do some learning ahead of time will probably be of great help.

Yep, I love the site too although I generally hang out over on the '48 to '60 forums. If you go to my sig and click on the links you can see whay I am into that as well as check out my retirement gigs. That will also give you an idea what i do with my SuperDuty. I am sure I will be hanging out here more as I get into this stuff and deciding what mods I want to do with my truck. I still have a major learning curve to overcome.

Later Man...

Feel free to. I love talking about this type of stuff, but my g/f just glazes over at the eyes when I start talking about it, so whenever I have a captive audience the better.

Will this software also cover my wifes 02 explorer? I would basically use it as a diagsnostic tool for my PSD and Explorer. Also we drive nothing but Ford's, is this system upgradable to say a 2010 vehicle that I may purchase in the future? Thanks
