Does anyone know why the exterior accent color is not available on the Platinum? If I could get the accent color in the platinum, I would chose it over the Lariat.

Most likely to distinguish it from the rest of models, I'm getting a 2010 Platinum & personally I like it a lot more that the accent colours.

I'd love to get black on mine, but living near Toronto, the winter's & salt, well you get the picture, so it's either silver or the grey metallic.
