The only really important gauge IMO is the pyrometer. That is absolutely the most important, followed by transmission temp. Boost is more or less a trouble shooting gauge IMO. With the pyrometer, you can tell if your safely running the engine. Then with the transmission, you can see if your about to roast it, but its less likely to be an issue then running the egts up. (much easier) So if your on a budget, start by buying the pyrometer, then the tranny gauge, then the boost, or other gauges. Just my two cents.
