Changing IP

Hello Guys - I just got my new IP and went to change it. How do you get at the nut on the lower passenger side? I disconnected the wires and moved any vac lines in the way....is there a special tool?

I ground down and bent a 9/16 box end and it works pretty good now it is a dedicated pump wrench.

Hey thanks for the idea. I'll give it a whirl. see waht angle works best.

They do make a special tool. I keep mine in my door panel. Although, You can change it with a craftsman end wrench. You will spend alot of time doing it and you will use both ends of the wrench. Only a coupple degrees on each turn then you have to flip the wrench over for another round. I think I used 3 out of the 4 combinations for that end wrench. Its a pain without the right wrench but it worked for me.
