it has custom cab emblems but I don't see 81B in the numbers on the plate.
is the 81 understood to be 81B(custom cab)?

AFAIK, there is no website to get the info on what crush vinyl and ladder pattern refers to.
This is what Ford calls the material and pattern.
You might try smsautofabrics.com who specializes in older vehicle upholstery. I would think they would know.
Pictures: Uh...please don't take this the wrong way, I know what these trucks look like, as I've prolly seen more of them, when they were brand new and used...than all of the FTE members combined.
Then there's the 1965 F100 in my signature....which tells you two things. 1) I bought it new in March 1965. 2) I'm older than dirt!
