Is it just my truck or did all 1962's coming with a one speed motor? Is there another solution to a multiple speed / delay motor that will adapt to that cab?

The single speed motor was standard equipment: C2TZ17508A (Motorcraft WM140).
The two speed motor was optional: C1TZ17508D (Motorcraft WM139).
These two motors were used on 1961/63 F100/600's. 1964 and later wiper motors are different.
I think they are all interchangeable. My problem is I was going to use a 2 speed from a 65, but the park switch is bad. It's kind of a different setup that goes right in the cover to the gears. It's worn out and I can find a replacement. Can't even find the correct part #.

On these motors the park switch was not available by itself like it was in the later 1970's/80's.
You will also need the 2 speed wiper switch and there are several different versions of these, because one includes the washer switch, one does not.
I have information about the park switch on these motors. The way the circuit works is when you turn the wiper switch to off it powers one of the pins on the park switch. the two pins ride on the motor gear which is conductive. this keeps the motor running until it hits an insulator section of the gear which breaks the connection and turns the motor off. The way these switches fail is (I know from first hand experience) if you turn on the wipers when snow is on the windows and the wipers get stuck and then you turn the switch off this powers the park switch, since the wipers will not move the circuit remains powered which causes heat and melts the plastic which hold the pins in place. The way I fixed mine was take the cover (which holds the park switch) off. Remove the keepers that hold the pins and springs in place. then fix the melted plastic with high heat epoxy. file using small swiss type files to the original shape make sure the pins are able to ride up and down under spring tension with out binding. reinstalled cover and ops check the park function. Mine worked like a champ. Good luck
one more bit of information. I thought that p/n c3az17a511c was the number for the parking switch and cover assy. It is not DO NOT ORDER THIS PART. It will not be what you are looking for. It is the cover only. no switch

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 29 = 800-543-4959.
MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has 5 = 800-546-7278.

KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has 5 = 800-816-2894
Kinsel has a TON of obsolete parts. I called "Gina" and asked about prices.
She said they sell their obsolete parts for whatever the original price was. Which means Kinsel will be cheaper than the obsolete parts vendors.
I ordered this part from green sales and it was just the cover. It didn't have any provisions for a switch to mount. Luckily they took the part back and I was out only shipping

Look what I just typed above on EDIT. Green may have sent you the wrong part.

That sounds like it might be worth a try, but quite a bit of work. I also orderd the part from Green Sales and just got the cover.
