Good Muff For The Inline 6?
i tryed searching but was unable to find what i needed, i want to keep the I6 because its a good motor and i dont have money to do a 351 swap, however i would like a bit of an aggressive sound from it, what type of setup works best and sounds good

remove you muffler and you will see that is is not too loud.
do a search for more on using a straight pipe.

Or straight pipe it. Or just cut off the muffler. Do it in stages; Cut off the muffler, decide if you like it. it's free that way.

It sounds very much like a Diesel. Seems like it sounds even more like a Diesel since I had the tailpipes extended. I get interesting looks.
I like the way she sounds. I have a lot of Sound Clips on my YouTube, so feel free to look.Edit: Seriously though. Just take off your muffler first and replace it with a foot or so of pipe and see what you think. It's not very loud and sounds like a tractor.

I used to have an inline 6 in my previous 95 and I had a 3 chamber 50 series Flowmaster on it. It had a nice deep sound to it but not loud. I think on the 300 the louder exhausts don't sound good. I only like the sound of a V8 with louder exhaust.
However, it is all about personal preferance. So everyone has a different opinion. Go for the sound that you like.

I don't mind though, I just pretend like my truck is a Diesel. haha!
