would a longer glasspack make it sound like a rice burner?
these engines are really picky with the exhaust i heard one yesterday that some kid put his own exhaust on, and it sounded so much like an import i almost chased him down to make sure that was a ford engine and not some import junk haha
yes a longer one will make it sound like ****,it also depends on the size of the pipe,i get more of a crack cause my exhaust diameter is smaller and my backfire is louder
im going to stop down at the muffler shop tomorow and see the pricing, i wanna get either the glasspack or the glasspack tips and take one angled out each side
the guy im goin to has been making custom exhaust for 30+years and he REALLY knows what hes talking about so i will see what he recomends and as soon as i get it i will put up a post with a sound clip
I know what you guys are saying about getting funny looks. Everyone that sees has has to crack up. Im just wondering tho, is it because of the way it sounds or the fact that the rest of the truck is covered in mud and there's a nice shiney chrome stack sticking out of the bed? Haha
I was kind of disapointed when I started it for the first time when I heard the it wasn't nearly as deep as it had sounded when I was expermenting. Must be because I was using alot more flexpipe then. Oh well tho, it still sounds nice.
