ok thanks ahead of time for the help.
I got an 1980 F-100 custom 3000 I6. iwant it to sound better right now its all stock everything. i heard that with the stock manifold and 2 1/4 pipe a purple horny glass-pak sounds good what do yall think? i know i cant get that V8 rumble out of it but its got to sound better than stock.

thanks i'll think about it but i was trying to get a good sound at idle and take off without getting to loud inside the cab. i heard the glass-pac dose what i want.do yall know?

On a I6 you wont hear anything at idle with a glasspack, exspecially just one. We just built a true dual exhaust on a 351 yesterday with glasspacks....you wouldnt even know it was running hardly unless you stomped on the gas. Go with a baffled muffler(flowmaster), thats were your sound is going to be....not a straight through cherry bomb.

would you leave it all original pipe going out behind the rear wheel or would a turn down right behind the cab be best.
ok one more question ( i should know this) is a turn down what it sounds like. just a pipe that curves down to the ground?
