programer

what programer works best on the 04 f150s. since i upgraded to 35 in. tires i would like a programer to restore a little lost power.

Check out Power Hungry Performance - Gryphon http://dygytalworld.ehost-services139.com/php/. I've got one in my 07 and so far I'm very happy with it and I don't even have my custom tunes yet.

Another programer you could look at is the Edge programer. Do a search on this forum for "edge" there is alot of information on here about it.

In a nutshell:

Edge - canned tunes
Gryphon from PHP - Edge with custom tunes (only PHP can tune)
SCT - Custom tunes. Any SCT tuner can tune. PHP is now an SCT dealer as well.

I got the SCT from Mike from 5 star tunning. Get custom tunes. Like said do a search on this topic there is a lot out there.

i have a 07 fx4 screw,( K&N aircharger intake and 3" cat-back magnaflow exhaust ) , ive beign looking at a chip or a custom tune, what do you guys think would benefit me the most???

As stated, custom tuning is a great way to go using either SCT or Gryphon. The first programmer I got for my '06 was the Edge. It made a very noticeable difference over stock and I liked having the gauge display. I wanted to try the custom tunes and switched to an SCT tuner and the custom tunes provided a noticeable difference over the Edge! I still use my Edge as a gauge display.
