ok, if you're regular on this forum, you've seen my posts with rough idle, then high idle, well i fixed them (iac for rough idle, reset computer for the high idle) so now, i have one other problem (hopefully this is the end to my running problems). Before i reconnected the battery, i cleaned the throttle body with some carb cleaner. Then connected it and fired it up. Ran at 1500 for about 30 seconds or so, then she kicked down to around 800 or so. Much improvement since last night. No more rough idle, so i thought id give it some gas and see if it would go back to running rough, goosed it and she bogged down on me. and it does this at any idle when i goose it. If i slowly give it gas, it will not do it. So, i am thinking fuel filter (only thing i haven't replaced[ground is soaked with slush]). What do you guys think?
yea, seems like i should get wet for the few minutes it takes to change it out. but its kind of weird, wouldn't it had done this before i changed out the iac? because before when my idle was rough, it would rev fine and not hesitate. in my eyes it was fine then because the air/fuel ratio was right, now that the air is better and its not getting all the fuel, it bogs down? idk, not that vehicle savvy i guess.
How long did you let it run after you cleaned the throttle body before you tried to crack the throttle? How much cleaner did you use? It may have been stumbling from the cleaner. Let it Idle a little longer or slowly rev it up a few times to clean out all the gunk that problably was sitting in the cylinders.
not too much, just opened the valves up and sprayed around the pivot points and the edges, not overly though. I let it idle for about 5 minutes, i think it would have cleared up by then. I got the fuel filter, just still too lazy in this cold windy weather.

i used the straw with the can and just sprayed by where the butterfly valves pivot, i was careful not to spray near the holes for the iac and it was very lightly. didn't spray far back at all, just the valves.
Not sure which motor you have. The Haynes manual says
koeo 35-45psi, 50-60psi for I6
running 30-45psi, 45-60psi for I6
If you pull the vacuum hose off of the regulator while its running the pressure should jump up 5-10psi.
Good luck.
