Thats the problem with the bigger axles; 15" rims dont normally clear the brakes. And NO, you cannot put D44HD outers on a D60. The ball joints are different sizes.

As for the hubs, yeah, swap out those autos for a good set of manuals. I will GUARANTEE your autos will fail the first real test you put them through. No floor cutting required.

Don't swap in a Dana 60 rear, they suck. Go with a 10.25" for the rear and swap over to 16" 8-lug wheels (the drums won't clear 15"s) if you want a tough set-up.
can't do this any time soon. just paid about $1500 all together for the wheels and tires. i'll definately have to wait til the tires wear out. then i'm going with at least 40's possibly 44's. so i'll definately need some beef in the suspension.
