I've seen thrust angles all of the place, with little to no issue, and nothing being bent. Like Chris said, however, they aren't adjustable, that I know of.
I have seen them vary from shop to shop on the same vehicle. (And for reasons I don't understand, I've seen thrust change slightly after making changes to the front of the truck, toe, camber, etc. I've always suspected it was just the margin of error in the equipment.) How far is that outside of the 'acceptable range'? I can't remember.
Are the leaf spring bushings worn in back (or front) ???
Check out the springs in back (and front if they are leaf-springs) and make sure the center pin/bolt is basically in the center of the axle, and everything looks like it's lined up correctly.
Weird things have happened before, and I've heard of u-bolts getting loose (especially when doing a lift, or doing other work without using new u-bolts), and the center pin/bolt of the spring has it's head sheared off.
You can knock the rear u-bolts loose and fudge one side forward and the other side back a little bit. Don't know if that will get you enough though. My truck was totaled when I bought it, hit in front corner, left frame rail pushed back. After pulling it square there was still about 1% thrust but I haven't worried about it yet. Its not enough to see it dog-tracking going down the road.
