Hey everyone!
Hope everyone is doing good.
I have missed you all but needed to step away for awhile. A bit of self preservation you could say.
I had a letter of sorts I was going to post but i chose not too at the last minute. It explained a lot of things and it also chewed some admin butt and for personal reasons it was best it not get posted.
I will say that to anyone who was offended by what I posted and my posts really offended some and for that I am somewhat sorry. I will not say fully because I am not. Hope that makes sense. I just wish that everyone would be as open to others as they wish others to be open to them.
So with my cooling off, growing, relaxing time over I am back. More subdued but back.
Now I have like a month of posts to read..........
Hey Moose! I was wondering where you had been. Sounds like you may have ran across someone that had a fart hung crossways their azz! Good to see you back. Well I'm gonna head over and skim the tech threads then gotta go fix the driving light on my truck. Yall have fun.
Good morning everyone! I ran into soem Iraqi's knee deep in a 6.0 today. They said they had to change out some injectors, but had the turbo out (is that necessary??) anyways, while the impeller wasn't dusted, it was getting there. It's a damn shame they don't know how to make an engine last more than 30k before it dies- that goes for gas and diesel, although they blow a helluva lot more V10s than 7.3's or 6ohs. I took some pics, I gotta transfer them and get them posted. I need to tell him to save any parts he's fixing to toss so I can ship them home fix them and sell them for just over repair costs.
I'd imagine it's not too hard to dust your turbo in that big sandbox over there, Danny.
Here's a few pics I got before my camera battery died yesterday.
Rolloff:
Plow truck:
It needs new fittings, but it's all plumbed to the rear.
And finally the one I'm excited about. The service truck.
Crane controls
Outriggers
And here's an idea of how the compartments are set up.
It could use paint, but all in all that's not too bad for a 14 year old truck in the rust belt. It's all surface rust. Nowhere that is so rusted you can poke your finger through.
Thank you!
Pete It isn't stuff I normally peruse for nor am I into any of it.. But i wanted to play fair is fair. I lost because I made some guys uncomfortable. So i needed to just concede and say its a mans site. I doubt ill pay supporter fees again because if my money doesn't give me equality on here then they don't deserve to have it. They want me to pay but wont stand up for me...wth is that?
thanks 4in! I appreciate it. I missed everyone so much.
Well I PMed Jim because I hadn't seen you in a few days and didn't know if some crazy had shown up at the motel or something else had happened. And I believe that here in the OT we're all on a level playing field.
Anyways I'm going to head out and mow the lawn before we get more rain.
The hay around here has all dried on the stem because nobody can get any good weather to cut and bale. We should be gearing up for second cutting already, but very little first cut is in. We haven't had 3 or 4 full days with no rain all month. And not 1 of them was consecutive.
And sorry if I randomly have extra of the letter hh strewn about my posts. My h key is a spaz. It randomly starts typing a ton of "h"s when I don't want it to.
