Good deal, Nolan. That's a good set up.

I just got my Scan-Gauge II to go with my analog gauges.

Next mod will be a Red Head steering box, probably in June. Going to Vegas next week for four days for my birthday, so no mods in May.

Ours was knocked off this morning and none of the others on the street were. There was a rock laying in the street near the mailbox.

Is it supposed to be intimidating or something? I've just got to get a new board for the box to sit on since the last one got big splits in it so the box won't fit on it anymore. The box sits on what I'd' guess to be a 10" cedar post. I'd imagine if it had been a standard box they'd have run it over. The post is set in the ground somewhere around 4' deep with rocks surrounding the post then dirt packed in tight.

It's annoying because not even 2 weeks ago I fixed it from when the snow off the town plow loosened it up a little.
they do it because they are dirty rotten no good #^$$^*&s!!

at the old house the bartstards kept running over the mailbox every few months.

until i sunk a 8 inch steel pipe 6 foot in the ground, filled it with concrete, then wrapped it with 2X12's to make it look like a 12X12 post.

4 months later, we hear this big crash at 1 am.
cops got called, and 4 punks got arrested by my father, who was a postal inspector at the time. they all got 5 years in federal prison, because they admitted to "killing" over 2 dozen other mail boxes.

oh yea, and the big old Buick boat they "borrowed" from one of the punks parents without them knowing about it was totaled.

one of my friends had a problem with the snowplow taking out his mailbox every storm...

He got a 10 foot section of railroad track...7 feet in the ground...when the snowplow hit it...the truck spun around...they havent had a problem since

Hah. We had an issue with some idiot running over several mailboxes on the street before. That's when the 10" cedar post went in. Not as much damage as an 8" pipe, but you'll certainly feel it.

They only knocked the box off the post and ours was the only one on the street. I'm guessing it was someone who is less than thrilled with dad.

They smash them around here. Just take the box completely out and leave the pole. An old neighbor bought a new mailbox and fabricated a roll cage of sorts on the inside of it. Few days later they found a bat laying next to the mailbox and a small dent in the box itself. I could only imagine how bad that hurt that guy that swung at it...

I don't remember if Brendan has been on here since he got to MD, but he did make it to Maryland all right. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone was wondering.
