Some do. Our department doesn't have one...they just tell us to write as many as we want. If we start getting complaints in certain areas, we will set up and run concentrated radar there. Believe me, there is plenty enough going on to keep us busy without ticket quotas.

Yeah i got to thinkin. veryone complains about the cops and all they wanna do is write tickets and give people a hard time and im thinkin seriously? who in the world decides to be a cop to write tickets? hell no! they wanna chase the bad guys catch the burglars, solve crimes, save lives, stuff like tha ya know?

Yep....the most I ever wrote in an 8 hour shift years ago was 27. Back then we worked 8 hour shifts and weren't nearly as busy with calls as we are now.

Yea John, Ole Walt Disney had that Dishonorable Discharge hanging behind the desk that he sat at, hanging upside down!! The State Dept. tried their best to get him to take it down, but to my knowledge he never did!!
