Just messin with ya Nick, though I've had really good results from the last 2 GM cars I've had;
1992 Grand Am,quad4 232,000, wrecked it. Had 121,000 when I got it, just routine maintenence.
1994 Corsica,3100v6, 289,000, tranny finally died. Owned the car from 50,000, never changed the trans fluid,(hence the trans quit) only routine maintenence here too.
I now have a 1995 Grand am,3100v6. Needed intake gaskets when I got it. Have about $900 into it all together, 176,000 when I got it now 195,000. Hoping for 300,000 out of this one.
I can't wait for the ground to thaw. I have a few days of grading, styrofoam, rebar and pex tubing then the floor in my "shop" will be ready to pour. Ideally, it would be done before going back to work, but that probably won't happen.
Sure is sloppy out there now, almost had to use 4wd to back the truck into the shop.
Still a very mild night, t shirt weather still at 9pm.
evening every body. Stoped by a body shop on the way home from work today, they want $800 to fix the rust spots, but they wont paint it. They said I should just take it to maco to get it painted.
Howdy folks. Hows everybody doin'? Nightmare at work today tryin' to chase a tailight wire! That plus a leakin radiator and a list of other little annoyances.
The Bronco, It's one of the years that ford didnt have the paint right. And theres a hole in one of the quarter panels, in the left rear wheel well, and under kick plate bythe drivers door.
Pete, not sure if I'll do green frosting or not. Probably be a mix of green and brown, gonna set the cake up with some trucks and stuff on it, he LOVES trucks, tractors, etc. Basically anything with an engine.
We did make green rice krispy treats today though.
