Wax or clear coat?

I just rattle canned my 1977 F-150. Don't laugh! It came out real GOOD. Now, should I put a clear coat on or should I just go with a good wax product?

Oh, BTW it is gloss black with a gloss pumkin orange stripe running down the side.

if you are happy with how it looks, better use a couple of layers of clearcoat to protect it.

You can wax the clearcoat after a couple weeks worth of curing.

Wax or clear coat?

I would suggest spraying the clear in an area that want show too bad to make sure it doesn't "lift" your paint. Sometimes they are not compatible. Good luck
