another turbo ?
i found a guy on craigslist really close to where i live and ive already seen them but he has two brand new turbos one is a 99-03 the other is a early 99 my ? is will the early 99 bolt up to my truck and will it be a upgrade and there dirt cheap as well

the 99 is a smaller turbo, so it will spool up faster than the obs. where ours makes peak torque at 2k rpm the 99 makes peak torque at around 1600 rpm. if your truck is mostly stock, the 99 would be a good upgrade. but if you plan on making monster numbers, having a bigger turbo would be more beneficial.
