EOT mod pics???

Just found CoonhunterJoe's pics... so for the EOT mod I just need to put the 4.7k resistor inline with the green wire w/ red stripe?
Just want to be sure that's all it takes...

You can use either wire, whichever is easier to get to.

yup, what he said, the sensor is an "in and out", just a resistor, so it doesnt matter if you put the 4.7 before or after the sensor as long as its in there to modify the signal before it hits the pcm.

Tells PCM that engine oil temperature is colder than actual and cause advance in timing.

Yep changes the injection timing due to a perceived oil temperature difference. BUT nobody know how much it changes timing. And on a diesel changing timing can be dangerous cause that is the number one factor in cylinder pressures. Not a good mod IMO.

ya, Tim i agree, some things probably best left alone. Dad said the other day he couldnt imagine if my truck had to go to a mechanic or dealer for something. he said they'd never get sorted through all my Presidential Engineering
