help! stuck oil filter

I've used Fram since I got my truck ~ 2 changes per year due to low mileage < 60,000 in 11 years. I am almost out of a case lot of Frams I got a great deal on way back and will probably switch to the NAPA/Wix version. I also use Chevron Delo 15W40. No issues with either one. I almost bought Rotella last time but someone in the store told me a horror story about it and convinced me not to use it. But you alls testimonies here is enough to convince me to try it anyway. I do notice a slight increase in pedal response and power after a change.
