I installed an F90BT a few weeks ago and didn't use an install kit. I used a piece of flat stock to adapt the rear guide from the stock stereo to the rear mount on the new stereo, then I made L brackets to hold the front corners down to the inner-dash opening. For the dash bezel you just have to trip the top and bottom lips and it clears, small gap on the sides but not enough to need a trip piece.

You may want squeeze your glove box and drop it down to expose the back wall of it. See if tour XM will fit there. If it will you can use the holes you've already made.

Here is a pic of mine with the metra 99-5805 kit, it was a tight getting it in with the side brackets on from the kit, the radio had to be recessed a little with the brackets sticking out about .5" beyond the front of the radio, this was so they could be pushed in to fit through the dash opening. The kit does not work that well for this application, I would suggest the Pioneer generic double din sleeve kit with trim bezel although it is 4x the cost.
