I just bought an 01' eddie bauer edition 4x4 ford epedition. I am originally a truck gal but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this...My question is that i want to put a lil more lift into it. Somewhere along the lines of 2-3" (not much). What would be my best cheapest option for this? Here is a few pics of the truck... http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...-09_0834-1.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...14-09_0835.jpg
ive seen spacers for rear coils maybe 2" just jack up disconect shock and slip in new spacer
as for front not shure but maybe torsion bar keys to bump up without killing ride if thats what keys do instead of just cranking up bars
I had a friend tell me that if i took it to someone who had the "key" then they could crank it up at least 2-2 1/2" without having to have anything. blocks included. I was just wondering how true this was and if it would mess with my suspension or driving any?
the key would not be a tool but a new part to add to reclock or increase range of torsion bars
you probably do need some special tool to unload torsion bar
never did this except on old dodge sedan
im shure someone out there nows all about this modifcation
