General question: How much life do you guys usually get from a set of batts? These are only 19 months old.

I don't have any ideas other than it sounds like a relay is switching on and off for some reason.
The one second interval is what gives that away.
If it were a dead battery causing it, it would be more like a machine gun T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T.
Kwik, not surprise to hear you ring in on this one. Oddly, I pulled my cab light relay because it was doing the same thing at about the same interval. I figured to put it back in after the problem is solved. I am calling to see if my batts are under warrenty if they are, I will try to get them changed out.
New update:
Took truck to Advance Auto (warrenty on batts). With batts disconnected, both tested good and load testing of charging and starting system all checked out OK.
